Hello! I’m Matt Jorgensen … a composer based in Seattle.

I love working in the Public Media space. As a composer I’ve worked with Cascade Public Media to create their sonic identity, station themes, and have scored their original programs KCTS Presents and Crosscut Festival Mainstage as well as fundraising and marketing videos. I’m proud to be a part of the creative team that won a 2021 and 2023 Northwest Regional Emmy Award.

Additionally, I wrote the theme for KUOW’s Seattle Now podcast, host the New Music Review on KNKX 88.5fm and have written music for various tv and film projects.
